Exams stink

After studying your ass off for finals, isn't it SUCH a relief when they're finally over and you can just kick back and relax? I'm sure as hell glad my exams are over. All three of my finals were in the first week, which is both good and bad: good, because they're out of the way faster and I have a longer Christmas break, and bad, because I had to CRAM CRAM CRAM as much as possible in such short a time!

But they turned out alright, for the most part. I was worried about Environmental Systems, because the midterms were nightmares (we had SO many questions to answer in only 50 minutes, so you don't have time to think; all you have time to do is to spew out everything you can remember instantly), but the final wasn't that bad since I had time to really think out my answers. The Remote Sensing final was rather long (many of the questions required long answers), and my hand was bloody crippled by the end, lol. The GIS exam was tricky, but it wouldn't have been as bad if only there wasn't a nightmarish traffic jam on the highway, causing me to arrive to the exam room 15 minutes late (I was really stressed out and pissed off, and my concentration was GONE). Whatever, I just need to get at least 75% on the final to get an A in the course (I was averaging about 90% before the final exam).

Now it's time to let my poor brain recover before the new semester comes thundering in ~_^.

The Prayer Said Before Finals

Here's a clever little poem I received in an e-mail forward. Oh, the joys of final exam period. >:(

The Prayer Said Before Finals

Now I lay me down to study
I pray the lord I won't go nutty

If I should fail to learn this junk
I pray the lord I will not flunk

But if I do, don't pity me at all
Just lay my bones in the study hall

Tell my prof I did my best
Then pile my books upon my chest

Now I lay me down to rest
And pray I'll pass tomorrow's test

If I should die before I wake
That's one less test I'll have to take
